COMPUTER AGREEMENT FORMS
Please note that the use of any computer is NOT allowed on the Fermi Computer Network unless the student and the student's parent/guardian have read, signed, and returned the Computer Network and/or Internet Student Acceptable Use Agreement. This form only needs to be signed one time and is valid for the entire time the student attends Fermi. Forms are distributed to all Freshman the first day of school. If additional forms are needed please see Mrs. Bridges in room D214. Outside Media at FERMI
Disk's, CD's, USB's, and other devices from home are NOT allowed to be used on the Fermi Computer Network unless a teacher has given the student permission and the disk, CD, USB, or other device has been scanned for viruses by Mrs. Bridges. Laptops may be used to give "standalone" classroom presentations but may not be connected the Fermi network because of virus and security concerns.
A NON-Networked PC is located in the library that must be used for all storage devices that have not first been scanned for viruses by Mrs. Bridges or another teacher at Fermi. If there is any problem with the PC in the library, the disk or CD must be scanned for viruses by Mrs. Bridges or another teacher at Fermi before it can be used on a Networked PC.
EMAIL
If a student wants to transfer work from home to Fermi a student may use email to transfer the work provided that Mrs. Bridges or another teacher monitors the transfer of the file(s) from the students email to their assigned student folder on the "Z" drive or to the printer. Students may NOT access their email for personal use.
Students are NOT assigned an email account from Fermi.
Teachers are assigned email accounts. The standard format used to assign email addresses is the first initial, last name, @enfieldschools.org. Example - kbridges@enfieldschools.org is the email address for Mrs. Bridges .
